You can do it. We can help.

"It isn't what you did in the past that will affect the present. It's what you do in the present that will redeem the past and thereby change the future."
(KARMA-definition)

Welcome to the Mental Health Resource Center

You can do it. We can help.

The campus environment can be exciting and challenging. It can also be highly stressful since social and emotional concerns can interfere with effective functioning and academic performance.

The Mental Health Resource Center is a helpful, friendly environment that provides students with the space to feel comfortable speaking with a Case Manager. The Case Manager provides information and assists in accessing community mental health resources in your area to help you be a successful student and a happy and healthy person!

Please call our office between 9 am and 4:30 pm to schedule an appointment to meet with a Case Manager.  If more immediate assistance is needed, you will be referred to the appropriate services.

Diversity Statement

The UConn Stamford Mental Health Resource Center is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for the UConn Stamford community.  We celebrate and honor the uniqueness and diversity of all individuals. We promote social justice and inclusivity throughout UConn and the broader global community through our coordination of services, collaboration with community providers, outreach, and events.

IMPORTANT

If you are experiencing a serious and immediate life-threatening crisis, please bypass calling the Mental Health Resource Center and call 911 or the UConn Police Department immediately at (860) 486-4800. Although most people associate 911 with medical emergencies, they also support people with mental health emergencies such as thoughts of suicide.

Should you be in need of non-emergency mental health services, please contact one of the clinical case managers via email or review one of the comprehensive resource guides.
